MandatoryCE’s Diabetes Symposium

This seminar will review statistics and projections for diabetes locally and globally, and review current pharmacotherapy for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, with regard to drug classes, safety data and ADA/AACE guidelines. Attendees will learn to implement new approaches to patient care and to identify prevention resources. They will also learn current strategies for obesity management, including different surgery options, while also learning current treatment options and factors to consider for individualized patient treatment options with SGLTs, incretins, and insulin therapies. This seminar will also provide attendees with an understanding of the broad spectrum of comorbidities that may occur in conjunction to type-two diabetes and strategies to better treat each condition.
