During the call, CMS experts and other authorities are expected to discuss their goals, requirements, progress and milestones for 2017. After the call, the agency has scheduled a question and answer session.
The IMPACT Act requires CMS hold surveys at least once every three years for the next 10 years. According to CMS providers who administer post-acute care must report standardized patients assessment data, quality measures data, and data on resource use and other measures. The IMPACT Act’s goal also includes the examination of a single, post-acute payment system.
The IMPACT Act requires that date to be interoperable to allow for its exchange among PAC and other providers.
