Addressing health care issues relevant to rural and tribal communities, the conference fosters collaboration, highlights statewide program and projects, and provides networking opportunities for health care professionals, administrators, policymakers, county directors, state and local leaders, federal agencies and others. The conference allows for building and strengthening partnerships, discussing ideas and solutions, networking and disseminating information.

WEBINAR OBJECTIVES:
- Obtain current information on Congressional initiatives that impact rural Health Care
- Learn the status of rural Healthcare initiatives at committee administrative levels
- Game latest information about how new government administrative rulings that impact rural Healthcare along with positions taken by National Rural Health Association
CMS has released the final rule for the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Treatment Choices (ETC) Model to encourage greater use of home dialysis and kidney transplants for Medicare beneficiaries with ESRD, while reducing Medicare expenditures and preserving or enhancing the quality of care furnished to beneficiaries with ESRD. The Model will begin on January 1, 2021.
In order to help ETC Model Participants prepare for the ETC Model, CMS is conducting an introductory webinar on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The webinar will provide an overview of the ETC Model, including:
- Participant selection
- The Home Dialysis Payment Adjustment
- The Performance Payment Adjustment
- The ETC Model timeline, including the timing of payment adjustments
- Information about how to communicate with CMS about the ETC Model.

She works hands-on with professional fee and hospital-based fee professionals to implement billing strategies and provides real-time feedback to clinicians regarding documentation and staff with encounter guidance.
