He has more than 26 years experience in health policy development at the state and federal level, and is one of the nation’s leading experts on rural health policy. Mr. Morgan served as a co-author for the publication, “Policy & Politics in Nursing and Health Care,” and for the publication, “Rural Populations and Health.” In addition, his health policy articles have been published in: The American Journal of Clinical Medicine, The Journal of Rural Health, The Journal of Cardiovascular Management, The Journal of Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, Cardiac Electrophysiology Review, and in Laboratory Medicine. Mr. Morgan served as staff for former US Congressman Dick Nichols & former Kansas Governor Mike Hayden.

What if you could gain some insight into your loved one’s journey with dementia? That’s exactly what our guests Arthena Caston and Jay Reinstein are hoping to offer in this session. They are currently living with early onset Alzheimer’s disease and members of the National Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association. They share their stories and how they have embraced this next chapter of their lives. You’ll be inspired to hear how they have found new purpose, a way to reinvent themselves and offer perspective and support to anyone on this journey. They encourage others to keep communicating, exercising, accept help, take your prescribed medications, and work with your health team to ensure a higher quality of life. Stay positive and you can live well with this disease. They also offer their experience as caregivers for each other and other loved ones. This illuminating session brings caregiving and living with dementia to practical light.

Five (5) sessions, Ten (10) hours, Six (6) expert presenters (including two (2) persons living with dementia). Eight (8) experiential stories of challenges, courage, compassion, and love. A Resources Room full of information access to resources about caring for others and self-care.
This final two hours of the Series summarizes what you heard in the previous ten hours as the expert presenters return to participate in an audience led Q & A interactive format to hear your questions, provide answers, summarize key content “takeaways”.
