2019 AzHHA Annual Leadership Conference
“Back to the Future”
October 23 – 25, 2019
Tucson, AZ
The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association’s (AzHHA) Annual Leadership Conference brings together hundreds of healthcare CEOs, leaders, legislators and community partners from across the state for two days of education, recognition and networking.
Keeping up with the latest developments in healthcare is an integral part of leadership roles. And there’s no better forum to do so than at AzHHA’s Annual Leadership Conference, at which like-minded professionals come together at the same table.
Going ‘Back to the Future’
In celebration of AzHHA’s 80 years in healthcare excellence, this year’s theme is Back to the Future. In looking back over the decades, we at AzHHA realize that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Managing vast changes in the healthcare landscape feels unique each year. But in reality, it’s recurring: There are a great number of changes, and we learn best how to manage them appropriately and efficiently, with the health and safety of patients in mind.
Whether it’s figuring out a way to pay for healthcare, or coming together to collaborate on moving the proverbial ball forward toward a common end goal, the same issues continue to appear on the horizon.
Keeping up with Colleagues and Industry Evolution
As the healthcare industry continuously evolves, it is AzHHA’s role to ensure you are up to date on the most recent trends, best practices, policy developments and advocacy efforts—all of which lead to your organization’s success.
This year, we convene at the majestic Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, and have negotiated a reduced room rate for attendees. This premier event and setting provides the ideal environment for connecting with prospective members of our hospital and healthcare community, as well as enhancing your existing relationships. You won’t want to miss this opportunity!
Click HERE for registration rates, room reservations and venue information. Register before October 17th to avoid late a fee.
For speaker information, click HERE.
For conference agenda, click HERE.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
The AHCCCS community forum includes discussion on upcoming AHCCCS initiatives, which may include services for Individuals with ASD, telehealth, crisis services, criminal justice, and competitive contract expansion. Members, family members, advocates, community members, providers, and stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
At this year’s Summer Games, Special Olympics Arizona will be offering MedFest (free sports physical exams for individuals with intellectual disabilities) for the first time.
We are looking for licensed physicians, physician assistants, and/or nurse practitioners as well as nurses and medical students to volunteer.
The screening will take place on Friday, May 6th from 8:00am – 2:00pm at Raymond S. Kellis High School: 8990 W Orangewood Ave. Glendale, AZ 85305. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch!
