Director of the agency Mary Mayhew resigned last week after three months on the job; Chris Traylor is now acting director of the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), he was hired by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) last year as deputy administrator for strategic initiatives.
