First-ever Women’s Health & Wellness Expo

During the event, physicians will hold a variety of free seminars on important health and wellness topics for women, including:

· Stress and Illness (9:30 a.m.)
· Naturopathic Health Options (10 a.m.)
· Foot Problems, Diabetes and Thyroid Problems (10:30 a.m.)
· Women’s Health at All Ages (11 a.m.)
· Help for Unsightly Veins (11:30 a.m.)

In addition to sharing health and wellness tips with women, experts like Namita Kothari, M.D. will conduct free health screenings and be available to answer questions from attendees.

The hospital also will offer health, wellness and beauty exhibits including express facials with skin analysis, chair massages, aromatherapy, yoga demonstrations, mini makeovers with beauty tips, tension-relief massages, and hand facials. Brunch and mocktails will be served throughout the morning.

Entertainment will include a 9:30 a.m. performance by the Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squad, followed by a health-savvy fashion show at 9:45 a.m. from SanTan Village and Superstition Springs Center.

Moms can also have their child safety seat checked by a certified child safety seat technician, and obtain educational materials for infants and children. Dads, soon-to-be parents and caregivers are also welcome.
