An advisor to The Hertel Report and an Arizona treasure to healthcare advocates, Dr. Len Krischer will be part of the upcoming virtual conference.
The National Advisory Board (NAB) on Improving Health Care Services for Older Adults and People with Disabilities 13 years ago. It was then the board launched its groundbreaking Six Foundational Principles, affirming the rights of older adults and people with disabilities to live at home, on their own terms, with the health and community support they need.
Together with advocates around the country, the organization uses the six principles to inform lawmakers and healthcare leaders about the needs and preferences of people with disabilities and older adults.
The principles convey the importance of equitable access to healthcare and the critical need for home and community-based services to policy makers, regulators, and industry leaders.
