Humana is also hiring more than 80 full-time employees at its Humana Pharmacy operations center in Glendale; dispensing facility in Phoenix; and call center located in Tempe.
Humana Pharmacy is Humana’s mail-delivery pharmacy service. The convenience of mail-delivery and continued growth of Humana’s health plan membership have created increasing demand for Humana Pharmacy’s services. Humana is hiring for the following roles:
- Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician may be taking inbound calls from Humana members, resolving matters related to mail-order pharmacy, making outbound calls to provider offices or Humana members, or performing data entry of prescriptions. All qualified candidates must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the state of Arizona. These roles are located at the operations center in Glendale.
- Dispensing Pharmacy Technicians in Training assist in accurately fulfilling prescriptions, assist pharmacists to deliver accurate prescription information, and perform inventory control. Qualified candidates must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the state of Arizona. These roles are located at the dispensing facility in Phoenix.

Join Robert Bessler, MD, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Sound Physicians, and Jeffrey Brenner, MD, Senior Vice President of Clinical Redesign at United Healthcare, as they discuss ways clinicians can improve population health outcomes by understanding and managing social determinants of health. Join us as Valerie Gutmann Koch highlights recent updates in the law where public health officials and the government have taken steps to regulate behavior. A recent law in Arizona regarding the ownership of embryos is just one of the laws on this list.Valerie Gutmann Koch is a Visiting Fellow at DePaul University College of Law and the Director of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago’s MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. Professor Koch earned her J.D. degree from Harvard Law School, where she was the co-editor of the recent developments section of the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics. Professor Koch serves as the Chair of the ABA’s Special Committee on Bioethics and the Law and Co-Chair of the Law Affinity Group for the American Society for Bioethics and the Humanities.
