Confirming its commitment to be the major hospital company in the east valley, Banner Health will build a new 120 bed facility adjacent to its existing Banner Health Center at Loop 202 San Tan Freeway and Alma School Road. Expecting an opening in the fall of 2020, Banner will spend more than $150 million on the project.
“We want to provide convenient care that is close to home for our patients and their families,” said Becky Kuhn, Banner’s chief operating officer. “Chandler and the surrounding Southeast Valley is growing fast and we want to make sure our patients and health plan members have care when and where they need it.”
