Solve.Care’s blockchain technology and digital currency is adopted by a leading accountable care organization.
The Care.Wallet’s physician app displays provider quality data and metrics while tracking overall performance and rewards earned. The application uses Care.Cards within the blockchain system which sync and provide real time data – and with Arizona Care Network’s Care.Coin, the ACO becomes the first to use digital currency for healthcare payments. Physicians earning Care.Coins can redeem them for U.S. currency.
Solve.Care started its multi-year contract with ACN earlier this year. It was charged with developing a way to use blockchain to reduce fraud and drive efficiency and transparency.
The October edition of The Hertel Report will include a news feature and interviews with ACN CEO David Hanekom, MD, and Pradeep Goel, CEO of Solve.Care Foundation about the launch of Care.Wallet.
MENAFM, The Middle East North Africa Financial Network, quoted Hanekom,
The Care.Wallet brings focus to our most important care metrics and gives our providers a solution that is easier and better than the outdated and expensive legacy technologies used in their practices. It removes their pain points and lets them get back to doing more of what they are trained to do deliver great healthcare.
